Nexus 210

Postby jasper1967 » Sun Jul 03, 2016 3:33 pm

Hello, can anyone help who is familiar with a Nexus 210. This last couple of weeks I have noticed that the water level is very low in the outer chamber. When we do a clean - the inner chamber takes much longer to empty and when it empties the outer chamber also loses water. We got it from Absolute koi. When I called Darren he told me to do a back flush which meant pushing down the flap in the centre of the eazy. This came away when I did it a second time. I have been sent a pipe with a rubber stop on the end but Im not sure to do with it as an alternative the flap that came away. If someone can help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

before clean place the pipe down the centre of the inner chamber its to stop the muck going down and into the outer chamber

Thanks for that - the pie doesn't seem to fit very well - do you have to force it in? Also any idea why the Nexus is emptying both chambers at the same time when cleaning? Thanks.

pipe should be a tight fit if its not sealing then the outer chamber will flow back through

Hi, make sure pump is turned off, place plastic water flow stop plate (inportant) if gravity fed , and pipe with rubber in centre of chamber , then turn tap to allow air to agitate centre chamber, leave for 5-10 mins ,then open correct tap to flush to waste , don't open other tap or water from other chamber will also empty , once centre is empty turn air tap back so it agitate outer camber , turn waste tap off , remove stop plate so water flows back in , remove pipe from centre , turn pump back on . repeat every 2-3 days. Hope this make sense ,
